Been pretty busy and the team been taking some time off. As the summer approaches we will be aiming to start back up some activities, this time however we are doing community events instead of ladders. This is because some team members are taking time off as well as we're preparing some future events i'm sure everyone will love!

- First up, SYN is now recruiting. If you're interested check out the application tab above. We're looking for MW2 and possible GOW2 players.

- SYN got some scrim time in against vIIv, They are a great team. If you aren't fimilar with them they have a site  www.vIIv-gaming.com, Thank you guys for kickin our ass and making us realize we got alot of work to do lol... If any other teams are interested in scrimmaging against SYN please just post in our forums or message me. We are constantly looking for teams to scrim against.

- Next up, SYN has scheduled their next 'Goodbye Halo 2 All-Nighter!'. It will be Friday April 2nd.. Check here to get more info and sign up for the all nighter! CLICK HERE!

Basically I just wanted to update this thing and announce that we are recruiting and are looking to be more active on gamebattles and we will be active on NVGA when they launch. We're seeking people for MW2 and GoW2. Right now we aren't involved in Gears Of War 2 however that might change.

For those of you interested in trying out, just submit an application in the application section and we'll work you into some team practices as well as see how you perform in public matches.

 

On a seporate note, We are seeking reviewers to post up game reviews. Currently we are setting up the review section and we're looking for some main reviewers to do official reviews on the site as well as we're looking for fan reviews. We have plans to keep this site growing so now is a good time to get involved.


Next up, Broadcasters. As some of you know SYN has had a channel on UFragtv. When Ufrag.tv relaunches we are looking to encourage people to come broadcast on there and even organized a group of casters to represent SYN as a team or as a member of the community.

So theres a few updates for ya...

In just a few months Halo 2's servers will no longer be active and what was one of the kick starts to Xbox Live's success will only be fond memories of kickin' ass and being spawn sniped by modders.

I don't know about all of you but Halo 2 was what got me mainstreamed on First Person Shooters and also what got me hooked on Xbox. It was fun matchmaking and plenty of awesome custom gametypes that led to my dedication to Xbox Live and even the meeting grounds to where I met some of my awesome teammates and started great friendships.

So to enjoy a few last good times on Halo 2, SYN and myself will be doing community nights on Halo 2.  Anyone and everyone is invited until given a reason not to be. Tell your friends and help us spread the word.

...and more are being added as we speak... So if you have any suggestions please submit them on our forum.

Along with custom games we'll also be dividing into parties to go into matchmaking.

We played Team Snipers for the night, won some, lost some, but had a blast the entire time. Its funny how a bunch of us who moved away from Halo over 2 years ago... came back and played like we were only semi-rusty.

We represented the hearts and ran into a few other people reppin the hearts. So I guess it was a success on our end of seeing the community in action for a good cause. Hope the turnout was good for everyone else who had parties setup for these 2 nights of Bungie.net's be a hero donations.
